Hydraulic systems are the muscle behind your vessel's deck machinery. From anchor windlasses to cargo cranes, reliable hydraulic pressure is non-negotiable. Welcome Marine specializes in the supply and reconditioning of heavy-duty hydraulic pumps and motors sourced from the world's largest ship recycling yard.

We handle both axial piston pumps and vane pumps, as well as high-torque radial piston motors. Our workshop is equipped to overhaul units from major Japanese and European manufacturers, restoring them to near-new condition.

Our Reconditioning Process

  • 1. Disassembly & Inspection: Every unit is completely stripped. We inspect the cylinder block, valve plate, and pistons for scoring or cavitation damage.
  • 2. Precision Lapping: The cylinder block face and valve plate are lapped to optical flatness to ensure a perfect seal and maximum volumetric efficiency.
  • 3. Component Replacement: Bearings, oil seals, and O-rings are automatically replaced. Damaged pistons or swash plates are replaced with OEM-spec spares.
  • 4. Load Testing: The reassembled unit is tested on our hydraulic test bench under load to verify pressure holding, flow rate, and absence of leaks.

We use a dedicated hydraulic test bench. The pump is run at rated RPM and pressure is gradually increased to check for internal leakage and case drain flow. We also monitor temperature and noise levels.
Yes, we offer repair services. You can ship the unit to our workshop in Bhavnagar. We will dismantle it, provide a damage report, and quote for repairs or a replacement unit if repair is not economical.
